Birdwood Golf Club – Charlottesville Hosted by Bob Bremer (3 Players) Ranked among Virginia’s Best Courses by Golf Digest and home to the University of Virginia Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams, Birdwood offers an elite golf experience supported by dedicated practice facilities—including an 18-hole putting course that spans nearly an acre. Originally opened in 1984, the course underwent a complete transformation in 2019-2020 by Davis Love III, his brother Mark, and lead designer Scot Sherman who has worked on some of the best collegiate courses in the country. Their redesign re-routed the layout through previously untouched forest, creating an entirely new golf experience. Rolling across the scenic foothills of the Virginia countryside, Birdwood features flowing fairways bordered by long fescue, strategic bunkering and natural water elements. The course also proudly hosts several collegiate and VSGA events each year. In 2025, Birdwood played host to the UVA Men’s Golf Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, a NCAA Women’s Regional, and the VSGA State Amateur. Retail Value: $720
