Cutalong Golf Club – Mineral Hosted by Steve Schubick (3 Players) Located beside Lake Anna in Mineral, Virginia, and named one of Virginia’s Top 10 Private Courses in 2023, Cutalong Golf Club is a bold, exploratory design crafted by architect Tom Clark with consulting contributions from Ron Whitten, Golf Digest’s architecture editor emeritus. More than two decades in the making, the course was conceived as the “first true Concept Course of the 21st century,” and the result is unlike anything else in the region. Cutalong blends homages to famous British and American hole designs with dramatic routing across significant elevation changes. Players will encounter small, intricately contoured greens, strategic split fairways, and distinctive, Civil War–inspired earthwork fortifications that add both visual character and strategic intrigue.
